Recent past and near future

Based in Madison, WI. In January 2021, I started a PhD in Dr. Claudio Gratton's lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The research focus of my dissertation is still a work in progress but is shaping up to be my favorite kind of research -- a big collaboration involving bees.

Distant past

Texas-born and Wisconsin-raised. I had the privilege of having access to the outdoors from a young age, where my curiosity about and love for the world around me was born. I earned my B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2016, where I double majored in Entomology and Environmental Studies.
